Screw diameter is the single number that decides how large a parison a machine can feed. At 70 mm a plant is limited to small and medium containers; at 80 mm with a 25:1 L/D barrel the MP100FD pushes 120 to 150 kg/h of HDPE and can hang a parison heavy enough for a 100 litre drum.
